There are two possible steps to the appeals process. Step one is called Reconsideration. Step two, if necessary is called Appeals Hearing.

The best time to apply for disability benefits is when you have been unable to work for at least 12 months due to physical and/or mental impairments.

Yes. A minor child can receive disability benefits if he or she meets the appropriate requirements.
